You CAN get your research done, even if the Library is closed. Here are a few tips to get you started:

  1. Connect with a Librarian via our 24/7 chat service. The Librarian can help you to narrow or focus your topic and suggest keywords and databases/websites to locate articles, books, reports, statistics, etc.
  2. Check our LibGuides research guides to get started doing research in a particular subject or discipline (e.g.,Art, Biology, Psychology). Each guide provides recommended books, journals and research databases, as well as tips and examples for citing sources and avoiding plagiarism.
  3. To access e-journals, e-books, full-text articles and more, try MCC Search. After clicking on a link, you'll be redirected to myCommnet to log in. Once you do this, you'll be able to use all of our Library's e-collections wherever you are!
